Dr. Shannon Williams
Growing up in the Portland Metro area, the strong bonds she formed with her family pets, combined with her love for exploring the Oregon outdoors, fueled her passion for the human-animal bond, biology and medicine.
After her 2005 graduation from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Shannon remained in Corvallis, launching her career in animal medicine at a mixed animal practice. Though she enjoyed working with all animals, the experience brought clarity to her passion for working with dogs and cats in particular.
In 2008, she returned to the Portland area to continue, and evolve, her career closer to family. During these years of practice she received training in Veterinary Acupuncture and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Through the course of her career, she has developed special interests in preventative care, pain management, rehabilitation/physiotherapy, geriatric and hospice care. She now provides care in specialty diagnostics services and proudly brings her experience, wholeheartedly, to serve you and your beloved pet at Narra Vet.

I grew up in Maryland and moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend Washington State University where I received my B.S. in Animal Science in 2021. I have always had a passion for working with and helping animals for as long as I can remember. I am new to the veterinary field and currently studying to become a certified veterinary technician (CVT) at Portland Community College. I have a love for all animals but have a soft spot for cows! I have two dogs, a chihuahua mix named Belle, and a Goldendoodle named Prince Marley (AKA Prince). When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, baking, gardening, and cuddling with my dogs on the couch.
Bella lives in Boring, OR with her husband and their three dogs: Minnie, Nip, and Kiddo (a career changed guide dog) and two purrfect cats, Floyd and Nubbins. She is passionate about caring for animals and has been in the veterinary field since 2016, but has spent her whole life loving them! She even volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society with Tanya when they were in high school!
Bella is currently working at a local Children’s Hospital and hopes to pursue a career in nursing, though she plans on continuing to work with furry patients as well. Bella loves continuing to learn to provide the best possible care for pets and their people! She is looking forward to working with the entire Narra Veterinary team and getting to know the amazing pets and clients that come in.
Tanya was born and raised in Portland and has always been very passionate about loving and caring for animals. Tanya is one of our relief technicians and cannot wait to help out wherever needed!
